FACT FILE:  LIBERTY WOMBAT is a Northern Hairy Nose Wombat.  Stocky and muscular, Wombats can run up to 40 km per hour and jump fences a meter high. They can bulldoze their way out of tight spots.  You would think that, given their success in making a fast getaway, more than 250 of this sub-species would be left.  But like Liberty's fellow gang members, they have fewer and fewer places to go.
